Innovation ecosystems

Innovation ecosystems are networks of transformational stakeholders. Members of these networks are committed to connecting and collaborating with other actors.

To build these innovation ecosystems, meeting places need to be activated and facilitated. They bring together a wide range of actors, different points of view and different types of knowledge. They enable the organisation of diverse groups of people and initiatives and are able to connect and disseminate transformation efforts. They allow innovative approaches to be explored in complex and unfamiliar contexts.

In the current context of great complexity and interrelated challenges, to activate transformation we need to promote change at different levels and in different spaces. In addition, the resources available to address these challenges are limited, so we need to look at ways of joining up efforts and increasing the impact that any one person or organisation can have in isolation. To act in this context, a systemic approach emerges, which we follow in Innovation Ecosystems.
